The Fanzone Pod is an independent Bolton Wanderers fan podcast with an engaged audience of BWFC supporters across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and beyond. We're proudly fan-led, growing fast, and genuinely fun to work with.
We work with a small, deliberately limited number of sponsor partners on a season-by-season basis. We don't and won’t ever chase the highest bidder. We care more about building relationships with brands that fit our community than maximising income, which is why we currently have just two partners, both of whom we'd happily recommend to anyone reading this.
If that approach sounds like the kind of partnership you're after, we'd love to hear from you.

A genuinely engaged Bolton Wanderers audience. Our listeners aren't passive; they email in, comment on YouTube, vote in our polls, and turn up week after week. When we mention a sponsor, they listen.
A small partner roster means real visibility. We don't dilute our partners' presence by stacking up sponsors. With us, you're one of two or three brands our audience hears about regularly, not one of twenty.
A fan-led independent voice. We're not the official club podcast, and we're not owned by a newspaper group. That independence matters to our audience and means our endorsements carry weight.
Long-term relationships, not short campaigns. Our existing sponsors have been with us for over a year and counting. We're looking for partners who want to build something with us over seasons, not weeks.
Real flexibility. Headline sponsorship, single-show sponsorship, branded segments, social media integration, blog presence, and branded competitions, we can shape a partnership around what works for your business.

Every sponsorship we agree is a bit different, but typical elements include:
Verbal mentions in every episode (intro, mid-roll, outro, depending on package)
Visual branding on YouTube thumbnails, broadcast graphics, and live streams
A dedicated page on our website introducing your business to our audience
Social media coverage across our X, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook channels
Newsletter inclusion when we launch our weekly digest
Match-day and live-stream presence during the football season
Direct relationship with our team, you can come on the show, attend live recordings, run joint promotions, and propose ideas
We're a small, accessible team. You won't be dealing with an agency middleman.

Honestly? Brands that fit. We'd rather say no to a deal that doesn't sit right than say yes to a quick win.
We're particularly open to conversations with:
Local Bolton and North-West businesses
Football, sport, and matchday-relevant brands
Hospitality, food and drink, leisure
Workwear, kit, and merchandise
Independent businesses owned by BWFC supporters
Brands that'd appreciate a long-term media partner with a clear voice
We're less likely to be the right fit for short-term commercial spots, gambling brands, or anyone wanting a faceless ad slot.

How it works
There's no rate card and no standard package, because every partnership we've built has been bespoke. The honest version:
You get in touch. Tell us a bit about your business and what you'd like to achieve.
We chat. A 30-minute call (in person or remote) to talk through your goals, our audience, and what might work.
We propose. Within a few days, we'll send you a tailored proposal with packages, pricing, and ideas, or we'll honestly tell you if we don't think it's the right fit.
We agree. A simple written agreement, no jargon, no surprises.
We get going. You're part of the team.

If you'd like to explore working together, drop us an email:
Mark the subject line "Sponsorship Enquiry", and we'll get back to you within 48 hours.
If you'd rather have a quick informal chat first, that's fine too — let us know your number, and we'll call you back.
