BOLTON COLLEGE

Thinking about the next step?

Then have a look at what's on your doorstep.

Bolton College has been educating our town for generations, and today it's teaching thousands of people a year across four sites. With an impressive Deane Road campus, plus centres at Deane & Derby, Brownlow Fold and Farnworth Library, whether your a school leaver, apprentice, adult retraining, degree-level student: you can do all of it, in Bolton, for Bolton.

The College has put serious money into the buildings to match. There's a £5 million Engineering & Digital Technologies Centre, a fully working fine-dining restaurant run by catering students, public salons for hairdressing, barbering and beauty, an Esports suite kitted out to industry spec, a realistic hospital ward for health and care learners, and science labs that let you do the proper hands-on stuff.

It goes the other way too. Through the Job Shop, employers can advertise vacancies, find apprentices and tap into a pool of local talent that's already been trained and anyone in Bolton can walk in for free careers advice, CV help and interview practice, whether they're a student there or not.

Applications for September are open now, and open events run through the year. If you're weighing up your options, or your son or daughter is, it's worth an hour of your time.
